Return/Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 28, 2025


1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Return requests must be made within 14 days of the itemโ€™s delivery date.

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition as received.

  • The item must be in its original packaging, and any free gifts received with purchase must also be returned.

  • You must contact our customer service team in advance and receive confirmation before returning any item.

Returns that do not meet these criteria may be refused.

2. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Email our support team at sales@yumu.kr with your order number and reason for return.

  2. If approved, you will receive a return shipping label and instructions.

  3. Print the label and drop off your return package at the nearest USPS location.

  4. Your refund will be processed once the item is received and inspected.

Note: Items returned without prior approval may be rejected.


3. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs in the following cases:

  • Change of mind (e.g., no longer need the item, wrong item ordered).

  • Partial returns.

The return label cost will be deducted from your refund, along with the original shipping cost if it was waived during checkout.

Examples:

  • Orders under $60: The return label cost and original shipping fee will be deducted.

  • Orders over $60 (with free shipping): The return label cost and waived original shipping fee will be deducted.

  • Partial returns: Return shipping fee of $6.99 (or more depending on region) will be deducted.


4. Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or used products

  • Items not in their original condition or missing parts

  • Sale items marked as final sale

  • Products nearing their expiration date (less than 1 year left)

  • Items returned without prior approval


5. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your item is damaged, defective, or you received the wrong product:

Please contact us immediately at sales@yumu.kr and provide:

  • A photo of the exterior packaging showing the tracking label

  • A photo of all items inside the box

  • A photo of the damaged/incorrect item

We may request additional proof such as video or detailed images. Failure to provide the requested documentation may result in a denied claim.

For defective item claims, you must contact us within 3 months of delivery.


6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will receive an email notification confirming receipt and refund approval or denial.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Refund Timing:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 3-7 business days after inspection.

  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.


7. Exchanges

We only offer exchanges for damaged or defective items.

If you would like to exchange an item, email us at sales@yumu.kr. Exchange requests for reasons such as change of mind will be handled as returns, and round-trip shipping fees will apply.


8. International Orders

At this time, we do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders. If your international order is damaged or incorrect, please contact us with photos as described above.
